The day set off to a chilly start, the “Beast from the East” was threatening delegate’s travel arrangements however the lecture theater was still very lively with a total of 52 Veterinary Nurses and Vets attending the CPD day.
The day aimed to provide delegates with an enhanced knowledge of
open wound management focusing on the correct use of advanced wound dressings and it certainly did just that! Guest speakers Georgie Hollis BSc and Ali King RVN NCert PracTec delivered a full day of wound care CPD, right from the duty of care and physiology of wound healing, to how to influence others in the practice to the positive changes you are trying to make.The feedback from this first Masterclass has been extremely positive and Advancis Veterinary are looking forward to the next Masterclass on the 14th June.
