Alongside our extensive range of wound care dressings, we took this amazing opportunity to display a fully working model of our Cell Salvage Device, Hemosep, for the first time on our stand. The ground-breaking blood recycling system attracted a lot of attention throught the Show from many delegates interested in using Cell Salvage in their practice. Hemosep uses a new and easy-to-use method of cell salvage to collect blood lost during surgical procedures. The collected blood lost is processed in the Cell Concentrator bag, resulting in a haemoconcentrated mix of all cell species, including platelets and clotting factors, that can then be transfused back to the patient.
